Responsibilities
- Contribute to machining-process and tooling plans and cost evaluation, independently prepare order process templates and continuously improve them.
- Understand the machining behavior of metals, plastics and other materials and select appropriate methods based on product requirements and equipment capability.
- Follow parts, fixtures and tooling from trial production through volume production, improve machining exceptions and surface defects, increase efficiency and control cost.
- Clarify machining processes and requirements, support production readiness and work with production, quality and business teams to improve and enforce process documents.
Requirements
- Associate degree or above in mechanical engineering, CNC technology or a related major.
- Experience programming Beijing Jingdiao CNC equipment and knowledge of four-axis machining requirements.
- Strong command of UG and common 3D and offline programming software, with practical equipment and programming experience for precision parts.
- Five-axis machining and multi-axis CNC programming capability.
- Experience selecting fixtures and tooling and preparing programs and solutions for new and variant products.
- Knowledge of common production materials and processes and the ability to independently prepare machining processes and process documents.
- Understanding of CNC process and cost control for thin-wall, small and high-precision parts, with a focus on reducing cost and improving quality.
- Ability to independently resolve machining exceptions, with strong process-improvement awareness, rigor and problem-solving skills.
