Responsibilities
- Build the finance framework for the cross-border e-commerce business, covering revenue, procurement, logistics, payments, taxes, refunds and settlement accounting.
- Design cross-border transaction flows across domestic and overseas entities, including business, contracts, funds, logistics and invoices, ensuring clarity, compliance and efficiency.
- Build contract, cross-border payment and fund-settlement systems and manage relationships with payment providers, banks and related partners.
- Manage foreign-exchange settlement and transfers, with practical knowledge of export operations, FX settlement and export tax rebates.
- Work deeply with platform orders and supply-chain operations to establish accounting for revenue, supplier cost, logistics, tariffs and taxes, payment fees, after-sales cost and gross margin.
- Design rules for collections, supplier payments, logistics settlement, refunds, compensation and reconciliation, and drive implementation in processes and systems.
- Contribute to business-model, pricing, supply-demand matching, payment and logistics decisions from the perspectives of finance, tax and capital efficiency.
- Own daily accounting, financial statements, budgeting, tax filing, annual audit and foundational financial controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above; accounting, auditing, taxation or related majors are preferred.
- At least three years as a finance leader in cross-border e-commerce, preferably with direct experience building finance, tax and payment flows.
- Practical experience across overseas collection, cross-border payment, FX settlement, export tax rebate, export trade, customs and cross-border taxation.
- Strong understanding of transaction and fulfillment models, including revenue, procurement cost, international logistics, payment fees, FX gains and losses, refunds and compensation.
- Strong commercial-finance capability and the ability to design transaction, cost, margin, cash-flow and tax solutions from real operating processes.
- Able to coordinate with cross-border upstream and downstream partners and service providers, design policies and rules, and execute them independently.
- Familiar with Chinese export taxation, enterprise accounting standards and fund and finance control requirements.
- Cross-border e-commerce, manufacturing-finance or export-business experience is preferred.
- Intermediate Accountant, CMA, ACCA or similar professional qualifications are preferred.
