Responsibilities
- Design core backend architecture, domain models, APIs and data models.
- Build e-commerce and B2B transaction capabilities across quoting, orders, payments, fulfillment, suppliers, logistics, after-sales and settlement.
- Design and implement complex processes, state transitions, approval flows and exception handling.
- Integrate Python services with databases, caches, message queues, object storage and third-party systems.
- Help define integrations and capability boundaries for ERP, CRM, supply-chain, payment and logistics systems.
- Own performance optimization, reliability, issue investigation and engineering metrics.
- Work with product, frontend, algorithms, QA and business teams to turn complex requirements into stable, maintainable system capabilities.
Requirements
- At least five years of backend experience, including ownership of core modules in medium or large business systems.
- Deep Python expertise with strong engineering, asynchronous-programming, performance-optimization and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with mainstream Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django and Flask; practical FastAPI experience is preferred.
- System-design experience in e-commerce, transaction platforms, B2B platforms, supply chains or order fulfillment.
- Experience with complex domain modeling, state machines, workflows, permissions and asynchronous tasks.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, Redis, message queues, object storage and Docker.
- Strong system-design ability and the capacity to independently analyze business problems and propose practical technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration across product, frontend, QA and business teams.
